Benton's East Bentleigh's Temporary Location

Benton's East Bentleigh is moving temporarily while our new Store is being built. The Warrigal Road Store will be closing on Wednesday the 5th of October at 5pm, with the Temporary Store operating as usual at 14 Nelson St Moorabbin using the same contact details of Phone: 9570 6555 and Fax: 9570 6599 from 7am on Monday the 10th of October. Heat Pump Hot Water Systems

Heat Pump Hot Water Systems are energy efficient electric hot water units that heat water by heating air in the unit that in turn heats the water in the tank. They are an alternative to Solar Hot Water Systems, saving almost as much energy and green house gas emissions, but without the Solar Panels.

Are available from Dux and Rheem, from all Benton's Stores.

Benefits:

• Heats water from the top of the tank down, with more hot water available more quickly.
• Easy change over from existing electric unit, Heat Pumps have the same plumbing as existing electric units.
• Work day and night as they do not require sunlight to operate
• Are fully frost protected.
• Generate approximately the same savings as solar all year round, independent of the weather
• Do not use roof mounted panels, which reduces structural load on the roof.
• Full mains pressure
• A Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) approved product.

New Leongatha and Gisborne Elgas Stores

Benton's are pleased to announce the acquisition of "Cash's Plumbtec" at 15 Anderson Street, Leongatha. Leongatha is in Gippsland, on the South Gippsland Highway, about 130km South East of Melbourne. WE Cash (Cash's Plumbtec) have been supplying to businesses in Leongatha and it's surrounding areas for over 20 years and is a highly respected plumbing materials supplier. This acquisition does not affect the Cash's Dandenong store.

Benton's has also acquired the Elgas agency in Gisborne. We will operate the agency from the same premises as our current Gisborne Store at 16 Robertson Street Gisborne, which is next to the Elgas agency. Karen Teagle form Gisborne Gas Centre has provided this service for the last 9 years and we wish her well in her future endeavours.
